On 24th of September, Dakshini Prayash hosted its 29th Foundation Day program. The theme this year was 'Amar Mukti Aloy Aloy', to celebrate 75 glorious years of India's independence. The event was graced by the presence of Mrs. Roshni Sen, IAS, Principal Secretary of the Govt. of West Bengal.

The self-reliance team of Dakshini Prayash created a beautiful lotus-themed Diwali hamper this year. With multiple exhibitions across cities and an overwhelming number of orders, the team kept busy and worked tirelessly throughout the festive season. All the hard work paid off when we received so many pictures of our products brightening up homes during Diwali. Thank you so much for all your love and appreciation.
Sunmbul Rahman is a runner (recently qualified for the Boston Marathon), a fitness enthusiast, a high-altitude trekker, and a mother of 2 daughters! Along with her training, Sunmbul is making time to train our students for long distance running! Thanks Sunmbul for joining us, our students are very fortunate to have you.
